Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC in the United States seeks a Service Technician to support our expanding field service footprint. You will service and repair air compressors and related equipment, install systems, and present clear options to customers for repairs and upgrades.

Requirements include 1–2 years in mechanical/electrical fields, ability to lift 50 lbs, valid license, and English fluency. The role is remote with travel within Reno, NV and surrounding areas; paid training is provided.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in mechanical, maintenance or electrical fields.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul and repair of industrial equipment (electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics) preferred; HVAC knowledge a plus.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments; valid driver’s license and English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service, troubleshoot and repair air compressors, air dryers, drains, controllers, and low pressure blowers.
• Set, install and pipe compressor systems and communicate options for repairs or upgrades.
• Complete service reports, start-up and warranty forms, and other documentation; attend training at Air Academy.
• Participate in rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool and travel to customer locations, including overnight travel.
• Adhere to safety procedures and use personal protective equipment; random drug testing may apply.
