Job summary

Atlas Copco Group in the Dallas area seeks a Service Technician to service and repair air compressors, air dryers, and related equipment. Remote work within the Dallas region, with customer-site travel as needed.

You will join a field-service team, complete detailed service reports and training, and adhere to safety standards. 1-2 years of technical experience, valid driver’s license, and fluent English required; occasional overnight travel possible.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of technical experience in mechanical, maintenance, or electrical field.
• Experience with maintenance, overhaul, and repair of industrial equipment (electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics) preferred.
• HVAC experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive service and troubleshoot/repair air compressors and air dryers.
• Set, install, and pipe compressor systems.
• Complete service documentation (reports, startup forms, warranty forms, oil sample forms, parts return documents).
• Attend training at Air Academy and train with senior technicians.
• Promote safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
• Provide high level customer service and present repair options to customers.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation with travel to customer locations.
