Job summary

The University of Washington is seeking a Compliance Analyst (ES 8) for the Office of Research. This temporary 6-month role focuses on conflict of interest and outside work programs, with telework eligibility and a strong emphasis on data handling and compliance across university systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, science, communications, or risk assessment, or equivalent, and two years of experience in a risk management, legal, or compliance role.
• Equivalency of education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage intake and review of Faculty Outside Work Forms; document intake, data entry, and tracking of approvals and metrics.
• Support the FCOI program by pre-reviews of SFI and Technology Transfer disclosures and coordinate training/tracking within UW offices.
• Assist with conflicts of commitment pre-review and coordinate with researchers and administrators to ensure compliance across systems.
