Job summary

University of Washington is seeking a Compliance Analyst (ES 8) for the Office of Research. This temporary 12-month role supports conflict of interest and outside work programs, performing pre-reviews of SFI and FCOI disclosures, coordinating with departments, and ensuring policy compliance across campuses.

The position offers telework eligibility and requires strong data management, analytics, and stakeholder communication skills within a highly structured environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, science, communications, or risk assessment.
• 2 years of experience in risk management, legal, or compliance role.
• Equivalent education/experience may substitute for minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Faculty Outside Work intake, data entry, and document management.
• Support FCOI program pre-reviews and disclosures, coordinating with UW offices.
• Perform pre-reviews of SFI disclosures and Technology Transfer disclosures.
• Coordinate with researchers and departments to ensure timely, complete disclosures.
• Maintain records, reports, and training materials for audit readiness.
• Provide frontline customer service via phone, email, or UW ticketing system.
