Job summary

CRC Group is seeking a Complex Claims Manager to oversee high-exposure construction defect claims from investigation through resolution. The role requires collaboration with legal counsel, brokers, and insured clients to ensure compliant, timely outcomes.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, conducting coverage analyses, and presenting risk reports. A background in complex construction claims and litigation management is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in claims handling Complex Construction Defect claims.
• Experience with litigation management and settlement negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, assess, and resolve complex or high-exposure Construction Defect claims within authority limits.
• Conduct comprehensive coverage analysis and determine liability exposure.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits and in alignment with organizational objectives.
• Provide guidance, mentoring, and technical expertise to less experienced claims staff.
• Collaborate with legal counsel, brokers, and insured clients to ensure proper claim resolution.
• Ensure adherence to organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Prepare and present reports on claim status, trends, and risk exposure to management.
