CRC Group is seeking a Complex Claims Manager in the United States to oversee high-exposure Construction Defect claims, assess coverage, determine liability, and negotiate settlements. You will mentor junior staff and coordinate with legal counsel, brokers, and insured clients to ensure compliant, timely resolutions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or insurance and 5+ years of experience in complex claims, with an adjuster license as applicable by jurisdiction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Complex Construction Defect claims.
• Experience in litigation management and settlement negotiations.
• Adjuster license as required by jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, assess, and resolve complex Construction Defect claims within authority limits.
• Conduct coverage analysis and determine liability exposure.
• Negotiate settlements within authority limits and organizational objectives.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff.
• Collaborate with legal counsel, brokers, and insured clients to resolve claims.
• Ensure adherence to standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Prepare and present reports on claim status, trends, and risk exposure.
