Qualifications

• 5+ years of property insurance claims handling experience.
• 2+ years handling fire, water, and theft claims including ALE.
• Strong knowledge of dwelling, contents, ALE, and state-specific coverages.
• Experience with complex, high-severity losses (catastrophe, total loss).
• Analytical thinker with solid problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Proficiency with claims tools such as Xactimate.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, negotiate, and settle moderately to highly complex property claims.
• Handle ALE and high-severity losses, including catastrophe events.
• Review engineering reports and estimates to support claim evaluation.
• Interpret policy language and apply it across varying state regulations.
• Collaborate virtually with field adjusters, mitigation vendors, and external partners.
• Provide empathetic, customer-focused communication throughout the claims lifecycle.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to finalize settlements and ensure regulatory compliance.
