Job summary

National University is seeking a Federal Work Study Compensation Assistant to support the Compensation Team by reviewing, updating, and standardizing job descriptions across the university. This remote, part-time position includes data entry into the HRIS and collaboration with HRBPs to ensure accurate documentation and alignment with compensation frameworks.

Current NU students who have completed FAFSA are eligible; you should be pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or

Qualifications

Must be a current National University student who has completed a FAFSA.
Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel required.
Experience with HRIS systems preferred.
Ability to work up to 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Assists in collecting and organizing existing job descriptions.
Reviews job descriptions for consistency in format, language, and structure.
Helps update job descriptions to reflect current duties, responsibilities, and requirements.
Inputs job description information into the HRIS system.
Maintains job description database and tracking tools.
