Little City Foundation seeks an Employment First Community Developer to connect employers with job seekers and deliver customized employment trainings. This remote role serves the Elgin area and requires building relationships with businesses to create placement opportunities.

The ideal candidate has a BA/BS in human services or business, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting participants with disabilities in obtaining meaningful work.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in human services or business is preferred.
• Two years of experience in disability services or marketing/sales.
• Knowledge of regulatory agencies and funding sources (DRS, CARF).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively.

Responsabilités

• Act as primary contact for community-based employment sites with employers and job seekers.
• Evaluate placement and employability to ensure a good job match.
• Perform work-site analysis and document performance.
• Support new hires from caseload for a prescribed period.
• Market the agency and job seekers to increase sustainable job placements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal standards.
