Wider Circle is seeking a Bilingual Community Engagement Specialist in Charleston, WV (Beckley, Huntington, and other listed areas considered) to lead Connect for Life and engage neighbors for better health. You will host events, conduct home visits, and reach out to members to build a supportive, connected community.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in community outreach or facilitation, an associate's degree (or 5+ years experience in lieu), and are comfortable working remotely with occasional

Qualifications

• 3+ years in community outreach, teaching, or facilitation preferred.
• Associate's degree preferred; 5+ years of relevant experience may be considered instead of a degree.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Connect For Life program, building trust and promoting health.
• Plan and host virtual and in-person events to foster relationships.
• Proactively contact members, ensure participation, and conduct home visits.
• Record member interactions for tracking and reporting in Wider Circle systems.
• Identify leaders to serve as Wider Circle Ambassadors and grow communities.
• Outreach to potential members to enroll them in the program.
• Serve as a liaison connecting members to health plans and care services.
• Meet engagement and growth goals; track hours and activity, including remote work.
• Home canvassing and in-home visits as needed.
