Job summary

KoBold Metals is seeking a Communities and Social Performance Specialist to build strong relationships with communities and ensure lasting, informed support for exploration and mining projects. You will support the Director of Community Engagement and provide technical and operational support to the C&S P team across projects.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of progressive experience in social performance within mining or related sectors.
• Experience working with First Nations, Métis, Inuit, or Indigenous communities.
• Strong data collection, social monitoring, and reporting skills.
• Ability to travel 6-10 weeks per year and work in remote field sites.
• Willingness to operate in a multicultural, field-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement stakeholder engagement aligned with company values.
• Identify and analyze stakeholders including communities and Indigenous groups.
• Participate in consultations and multi-stakeholder forums.
• Support land access and agreements with Indigenous groups.
• Maintain stakeholder registers and engagement records.
• Support social risk assessments and due diligence.
• Coordinate with site teams to integrate social performance into planning.
• Prepare social inputs for permitting processes.
• Contribute to knowledge management and capacity-building activities.
