Job summary

Ring & DuChateau Consulting Engineers is seeking a Communications Specialist to develop and manage internal and external communications across digital, written, and virtual channels. This fully remote role partners with leadership and departments to ensure clear, consistent messaging that supports organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate will have 3–7 years of corporate communications experience, strong writing/editing skills, and proficiency with MS Office and collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or higher in a communications-related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in corporate/internal communications, public relations, or related discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong editing, proofreading, and content-development abilities.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
• Strong organizational and project-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple communication projects and deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and digital collaboration tools.
• Experience working with remote teams and virtual communication platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with goals and initiatives.
• Coordinate internal and external communication plans across programs and projects.
• Draft, edit, and proofread emails, newsletters, presentations, reports, and website content.
• Create communication materials for employees, clients, partners, leadership, and external audiences.
• Maintain consistent organizational voice and messaging across materials.
• Support internal communications about company initiatives, policies, and employee programs.
• Prepare executive communications, announcements, and presentations.
• Coordinate company-wide communications and ensure timely distribution.
• Monitor and measure engagement and communication effectiveness.
