Job summary

Globe Life is seeking a Commission Analyst to calculate, adjust, and process sales commissions for thousands of agents. You will answer queries, research issues, and explain how commissions are calculated.

The role will troubleshoot root causes and take corrective actions to ensure accurate pay; also responsible for the accounting & auditing of commission accounts. This is a remote / work-from-home position, emphasizing data accuracy, audit-ready documentation, and timely commission payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent analytical experience.
• Experience with sales compensation calculations and reporting is a plus.
• Background in the insurance industry is a plus.
• Proficiency with Excel and Access; familiarity with compensation tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain commission database and manage data entry and upkeep.
• Ensure accurate and timely payment of commissions.
• Maintain records to support audit requirements and perform audits of statements.
• Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly commission processes.
• Explain calculations and assist with 1099 questions and payouts.
• Research and reconcile commission disputes and discrepancies.
• Improve processes with deeper understanding of the commission workflow.
