Job summary

Enviros is seeking a Commissioning Technician to join our growing team. This remote/hybrid role requires up to 75% travel and focuses on commissioning HVAC, electrical, and building automation systems.

You will review project specs, create functional test procedures, manage field inspections, start-ups, and TAB, and document findings in clear reports. Post-secondary education is a plus, and you must be willing to obtain the CxA certification within 24 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education is a plus.
• Willing to obtain CxA certification within 24 months.
• Experience in HVAC, Building Automation, or facilities operations.
• Willing to travel up to 75% locally and nationally.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications and drawings to support design and commissioning integration.
• Create functional performance test procedures for HVAC, electrical systems, and controls.
• Manage field inspections, equipment startups, and TAB.
• Perform field functional performance testing and system tuning.
• Troubleshoot faulty systems and recommend corrective actions.
• Document site observations, testing processes, and checklists.
• Prepare deliverables including technical reports, Cx reports, and system manuals.
