Job summary

Environmental Air Systems seeks a Cx Technician to verify readiness and performance of mechanical and HVAC systems. This role requires hands-on experience with mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, and controls systems and frequent travel to project sites for commissioning support.

You will coordinate with project teams, conduct startup activities, troubleshoot issues, and ensure documentation meets owner and contractor requirements.

Qualifications

• High School or Trade Graduate or GED.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Card required.
• Minimum five years hands-on experience in this industry or a related field.
• Commercial experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform system-readiness inspections for startup, testing, and turnover.
• Verify mechanical, electrical, and controls prerequisites before startup.
• Identify gaps and coordinate ownership to close readiness gaps.
• Support mechanical and HVAC startups in accordance with procedures.
• Maintain safety, documentation, and QA/QC standards on site.
