Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to plan, execute, and manage commissioning across utility-scale solar, BESS, SCADA, and substations nationwide. Remote role with Midwest travel; coordination with owners, EPC teams, and testers is essential to ensure compliance and a smooth project handoff.

The role requires 5+ years in commissioning leadership, PMP preferred, and strong planning, testing, and reporting skills to deliver safe, on-time project completions.

Qualifications

• Lead complex project commissioning activities (5+ years).
• Experience with commissioning of utility scale solar/BESS/SCADA/HV systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and develop commissioning plans and procedures.
• Establish and execute commissioning schedules and plans.
• Lead commissioning meetings and daily plan-of-the-day meetings.
• Coordinate with Owner representatives, OEMs, testers, and internal teams.
• Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning tests per standards.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports and track progress.
• Monitor timelines, budgets, and resources for project delivery.
• Support documentation for energization, start-up, and operations handoff.
