Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to plan, execute, and manage the commissioning of utility-scale solar, storage, SCADA, and HV substations nationwide. This remote role requires Midwest travel and close collaboration with project teams, owners, and testing providers to ensure compliant, on-time delivery.

You will lead development of commissioning plans, schedules, testing, and documentation, driving a smooth transition from commissioning to project closeout.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex project commissioning.
• Experience with utility-scale solar/BESS/SCADA/HV commissioning.
• 3+ years in direct management role.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical and communication system testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and develop project-specific commissioning plans.
• Establish and execute commissioning schedules.
• Lead commissioning coordination meetings and plan of day.
• Coordinate with Owner representatives, OEM field advisors, testing providers, and internal teams.
• Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning tests for solar, BESS, and HV substations.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports and track progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Facilitate hand-off to Operations and Maintenance.
