Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager to lead the nationwide commissioning efforts for utility-scale solar, BESS, SCADA, and substations. You will plan, execute, and manage commissioning activities, coordinating with Owners, EPC teams, and testing providers to ensure contract adherence and smooth project hand-off.

The role requires 5+ years in complex project commissioning, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of electrical and control systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading complex project commissioning activities.
• Experience with technical, regulatory, and contractual requirements of utility scale solar/BESS/SCADA/HV commissioning.
• 3+ years of experience in a direct management role.
• PMI PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review technical, contractual, and regulatory requirements and develop project commissioning plans and procedures.
• Lead the site commissioning team, coordinate with Owner representatives, OEM field advisors, testing providers, and internal teams.
• Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning tests for solar plants, BESS, substations, and SCADA systems.
• Prepare detailed commissioning reports, track progress, and document issues and corrective actions.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance throughout commissioning activities.
