Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Commissioning Project Engineer to support the Commissioning & Building Analytics (CBA) team. This role involves field-testing, developing commissioning plans, and coordinating cross-functional teams across multiple client sites in the USA.

A technical engineering degree and 2+ years of relevant experience are required, with PE/PMP and LEED AP assets preferred. The position offers remote work options with significant travel and a competitive

Qualifications

• A recognized university technical degree or equivalent.
• Engineering degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of mechanical or electrical engineering and/or field-testing experience.
• Strong data management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office products.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate commissioning processes per ASHRAE, CSA, and LEED requirements.
• Lead field-based commissioning activities with site visits and test forms.
• Develop and manage commissioning activity schedules and sequence-of-work.
• Review design drawings and submittals for commissioning.
• Chair commissioning meetings and liaise with stakeholders.
• Travel up to 30–40% to client sites across the USA.
