Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Project Engineer, Commissioning to join the CBA team. You will support commissioning activities across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders through design, pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.

The role emphasizes field execution, start-up testing, and performance verification with travel up to 50% within the USA, plus potential international assignments.

Qualifications

• Recognized university technical degree or equivalent (Engineering Degree preferred).
• Experience with mechanical testing meters and test result analysis.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant mechanical or electrical engineering and/or field-testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, review, and execute commissioning-related projects with strong technical and field activities.
• Liaise with team members, consultants, and contractors to lead cross-functional projects.
• Develop Commissioning Plans and Specifications and manage project schedules.
• Conduct field-based commissioning activities including site visits and start-up/test forms.
• Review design drawings, specifications, and submittals (shop drawings).
• Chair meetings and test using calibrated equipment during commissioning.
• Test HVACR, electrical, plumbing, lighting controls, and power systems; track issues and tests.
