Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Project Engineer, Commissioning to support the Commissioning & Building Analytics team across ASHRAE, CSA, and LEED requirements. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure thorough commissioning activities from design through post-construction.

The role requires 2+ years in mechanical or electrical engineering and field testing, plus strong data management and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Recognized university technical degree or equivalent (Engineering Degree preferred).
• Experience using mechanical testing meters and equipment; analyze/test results.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant mechanical or electrical engineering and/or field-testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, review, and execute all facets of commissioning-related projects with strong technical field activities.
• Liaise with team members, consultants, and contractors to lead cross-functional project teams.
• Develop Commissioning Plans and Specifications while managing projects and schedules.
• Conduct field-based commissioning activities including site visits and test form development.
• Perform design drawing and specification reviews and shop drawing submittals.
• Chair commissioning meetings and use testing equipment in the process.
• Test HVAC and building management systems, power systems, and related equipment.
