Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business. Remote work is available across several states, with on-site options near branches as needed.

You will retain clients, address service requests, and coordinate renewals while ensuring accurate policy administration. The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license (CIC preferred), strong communication and analytical skills, and a track record in insurance or account management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance industry.
• Active P&C license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and client service activities.
• Resolve complex issues and ensure accurate policy administration and billing.
• Monitor policy expirations and renewals; conduct client research and prepare submissions.
• Negotiate coverages and present proposals to clients.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and pursue outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Keep the team informed about workload and issues.
• Deliver proactive service and respond quickly to requests.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek best practices to improve performance; demonstrate IOA values.
