Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and support new opportunities. The role emphasizes service excellence, policy administration, renewals, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, active P&C licensing (CIC preferred), and strong communication and analytical skills. This is a remote position servicing multiple states.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active P&C licensing with preferred CIC or equivalent designation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business to retain accounts and support growth.
• Coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service activities; resolve complex issues.
• Oversee renewals, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Maintain agency systems and data accuracy; monitor workload and performance.
• Lead account management team activities and ensure service excellence.
