Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and coordinate day-to-day administration and service activities. The role supports a remote-capable team across multiple western states with hybrid onsite flexibility where needed.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license, has trucking/transport experience, and can lead a team, handle renewals, billing, and client submissions while delivering exceptional service and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor and maintain activity/suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Communicate workload status with the account team.
• Deliver proactive, high-quality service.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek best practices to improve performance.
