Optum is seeking a Commercial Underwriter to analyze new loan requests and perform periodic reviews, assessing financial statements and overall credit risk. Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of analyzing business and personal financial statements for loan requests.
• 2+ years underwriting commercial loans, including commercial real estate loans.
• Understanding and knowledge of FDIC and other regulatory rules and requirements.

Aufgaben

• Analyze new commercial loan requests and perform periodic reviews on existing commercial loans.
• Conduct analysis of financial statements and assess overall credit risk of new and existing loans.
• Take lead role in presenting analysis, findings, and recommendations to Portfolio Managers, Underwriters, and other members of the Credit team.
• Assess and recommend risk ratings for analyzed loans.
• Be knowledgeable of policies, guidelines, procedures, regulations and systems applicable to the credit team functions.
• Complete quarterly and annual covenant compliance testing for existing loans in the portfolio.
• Analyze and document loan modification requests.
• Assist with portfolio management and monitoring.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.
• Assist with special projects and complete other duties as assigned.
