Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Commercial Litigation Paralegal who can support attorneys in fact investigations, witness interviews, and drafting pleadings. The role may be filled remotely or in any location, with responsibilities including document management, database handling, and trial preparation.

Candidate must have at least 5 years of relevant paralegal experience, with California litigation exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years relevant paralegal experience.
• Relativity or document review software experience.
• Trial preparation and attendance.
• California litigation experience required.
• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to attorneys in investigation, witness interviews, pleadings, and legal research.
• Prepare materials for depositions, hearings, and trials; attend if needed.
• Coordinate filing of pleadings and service of documents.
• Summarize records and manage databases and docketing.
• Act as liaison between clients, colleagues, and experts; ensure timely communication.
• Mentor junior paralegals and support staff.
• Stay informed of developments in commercial litigation and paralegal practices.
