Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP seeks a Commercial Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys with fact development, document review, and trial preparation. The role involves working across offices, handling complex docketing, and assisting with discovery and AI-enabled tasks.

Remote work is possible, with California experience highly valued. The position requires at least five years of relevant experience, familiarity with Relativity or similar tools, and a strong ability to manage deadlines and client

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• California litigation experience required.
• Relativity or document review software experience.
• Trial preparation and attendance.
• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to attorneys in investigation, witness interviews, drafting pleadings and correspondence, legal research, document preparation and production, docketing/case management, and overall client service.
• Learn and apply e-discovery database use and AI tools; internet research; and electronic file maintenance.
• Independently organize and manage files.
• Prepare materials for depositions, hearings, and trials; attend as needed.
• Stay informed on developments in Commercial Litigation and related paralegal practices.
• Mentor junior Paralegals as needed.
