Job summary

Jones Insurance Agency, Inc. in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to deliver client-first service to commercial insureds and to support Producers with new business and renewal opportunities.

The ideal candidate builds strong client relationships, stays organized, and serves as a trusted resource for clients and our team, managing account activity with accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• 2 years insurance experience.
• NC Department of Insurance Property & Casualty License OR ability to obtain license within the first 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a designated book of commercial insurance accounts while providing responsive, professional, and client-focused service.
• Handle inbound client requests, including quotes, policy changes, certificates, and other service needs.
• Work closely with Producers to support new business and renewal opportunities.
• Gather information, complete applications, and assist with the preparation and processing of new and renewal business.
• Review policies, renewals, audits, cancellations, and other account activity to ensure accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Assist clients with claims, billing questions, loss control matters, and other insurance-related concerns.
• Communicate regularly with clients, insurance carriers, Producers, and agency staff to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate and complete account documentation and follow established agency procedures and service standards.
• Respond to client requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain required insurance licensing, continuing education, and professional designations as applicable.
• Performs other functions as assigned by management
