Job summary

The Jonus Group is seeking a dedicated Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our Durham, NC team. This fully onsite role focuses on managing a diverse book of small to middle-market accounts, delivering proactive servicing and timely policy updates to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include handling new business and renewals, quoting and placement, and collaborating with colleagues to support retention goals.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required.
• 1 year of commercial insurance agency experience; 3+ years preferred.
• Proficiency with EZLynx and familiarity with Applied EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Manage a generalist book of business including small market and some middle-market accounts (premiums $50,000+).
• Provide day-to-day servicing: policy changes, endorsements, and client inquiries.
• Handle new business and renewal marketing, including quoting and placement.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
• Utilize EZLynx and Applied EPIC for account management and documentation.
