Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines in Southern California with hybrid work options. You will manage an assigned book of business, support new business, and coordinate day-to-day service activities to ensure retention and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license; CIC designation is preferred. Strong analytical, communication, and MS Office skills are essential as you lead a team in a responsive, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Active property & casualty (P&C) license required; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Bachelor’s degree not required but high school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities; resolve complex issues.
• Maintain policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Monitor renewals, expirations, and submissions; negotiate coverages and present proposals.
• Track delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances; ensure data accuracy in agency systems.
• Lead and develop the account management team; maintain clear workload status communication.
