Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage a book of business and support new business development. Remote work is available for candidates in Eastern or Central Time Zones, with occasional on-site needs per policy.

Responsibilities include client service, policy administration, renewals, and collaboration with the account team to ensure service excellence and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience in insurance or brokerage.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active P&C license; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business ensuring retention and growth.
• Coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service activities.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Monitor policy expirations and renewals.
• Prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor data.
