Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage assigned client books, ensure retention, and support new business. You will coordinate day-to-day admin, resolve complex issues, and drive accurate policy administration and renewals.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of account management or 5+ years in insurance, active licensing, and a CIC or equivalent is preferred. Expect competitive pay and strong growth within a collaborative, service-focused team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CIC designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor reports and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure timely completion of activities and transparent workload communication.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively address client needs.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Seek best practices to improve performance and champion IOA values.
