Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, ensure retention, and support new opportunities. You will coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service tasks, resolving complex issues and minimizing errors.

You will maintain technical expertise, lead the account management team, handle policy administration, billing, claims, renewals, and client communications while upholding IOA values and service standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing required; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsabilités

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues and ensuring accuracy.

• Direct daily activities of the account management team.

• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
