Job summary

Pairwise Plants LLC is seeking a commercially driven sales leader to build and manage a US-based domain for our genetics and licensed products. Reporting to Commercial Development, you will own the prospecting through signed agreement process, negotiate terms with growers and partners, and stay engaged after the sale to ensure partner success.

You’ll craft territory plans, shape the account strategy, and partner with Agronomy, R&D, Marketing, Finance, and Regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of commercial experience in agriculture or plant genetics.
• Proven track record of meeting revenue targets and closing complex deals.
• Experience selling into the fresh produce value chain with growers or packers.
• Technical fluency in plant genetics and production agronomy for commercial terms.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a US sales pipeline from prospecting to close.
• Negotiate license, production, and supply agreements with partners.
• Collaborate with Agronomy, R&D, Marketing, Finance, and Regulatory teams.
• Build territory plans, account strategies, and pricing/forecasting discipline.
• Represent Pairwise at trade shows, grower meetings, and industry events.
• Track competitive activity and adjust account strategy accordingly.
• Maintain CRM records and provide regular forecast updates.
