Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• 2+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably with a SaaS/data-focused technology company or representing tech clients.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, including SaaS, DaaS, enterprise customer, cloud, reseller, and vendor agreements.
• Provide guidance on privacy and data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA/CPRA).
• Advise on AI-related legal considerations, including data usage rights, IP ownership, risk allocation, and regulatory compliance.
• Support development of internal AI governance policies and use AI tools to optimize contract lifecycle management.
• Contribute to improvement of legal templates, playbooks, and processes.
