Job summary

Armada is hiring an early career Commercial Counsel who will own deals from start to finish. You will draft and negotiate customer and procurement agreements and partner closely with GTM, Engineering, and Product teams to keep deals moving while managing risk.

You will join a small legal team, working with two senior attorneys and reporting to the Head of Legal. This is a remote-based role in the continental US with a preference for Eastern or Central time zones.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one US state bar.
• 3+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience supporting commercial transactions.
• 2+ years of in-house experience at a B2B technology company (software, hardware, AI, or infrastructure).
• Ability to run commercial negotiations independently and close on schedule.
• Sound legal judgment paired with practical business sense.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including NDAs, MSAs, order forms, vendor and partner contracts.
• Manage a steady volume of deals independently with escalation as needed.
• Serve as day-to-day legal partner balancing risk and business objectives.
• Maintain Armada's contract templates and negotiation playbooks.
