Job summary

MasTec Renewables seeks a remote-based Project Commercial Contracts Manager with up to 50% travel to site. You will oversee EPC contract administration across pre-construction and execution phases, coordinating with project leadership, legal, and site teams to manage notices, changes, and risk.

The role emphasizes thorough contract management, risk identification, and proactive collaboration to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery while meeting compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or relevant discipline; or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of recent experience in construction contract management on large and complex projects in the $30MM to 150MM range.
• 3+ years of recent experience in using construction management software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project team in administering project contracts, including drafting notices to clients as required.
• Assist in the contract terms review with the project team after award but before mobilization.
• Draft contractual notices to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Participate in regular project team meetings and engage with the project team.
• Advise the Project Manager on contractual change requirements and monitor changes and claims.
• Support administration of insurance claims with project and insurance teams.
• Support project closeout including certificates and warranties administration.
• Capture lessons learned during project execution and report during Close Out.
