Job summary

PPG in Davenport, IA is seeking a Commercial Territory Manager to drive profitable sales growth within Eastern Iowa. You will serve as the primary commercial contact for direct accounts and distributors, focusing on automotive refinish coatings, fleet and industrial applications.

Reporting to the Commercial Regional Manager, the CTM will develop territory plans, apply technical product knowledge, deliver training, and use CRM tools to manage opportunities, while traveling up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 5+ years in coatings or related industrial sales.
Experience with distributor partners and direct accounts.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow sales within a defined territory including direct and distributor accounts.
Serve as the primary representative for PPG Commercial Coatings in the territory.
Prospect and convert new leads for direct and distribution channels.
Develop and maintain a robust commercial sales distribution network.
Use CRM tools to strategize, track, and manage territory activities.
Deliver presentations and training on PPG products and value propositions.
Travel up to 50% overnight to support sales activities.
