Job summary

Mobilitas is hiring a Commercial Pricing Actuary (Mobility) to join our remote team in the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). You will prepare and coordinate analyses for insurance rating, support individual account pricing, and lead moderate‑complexity projects within a dynamic startup environment.

The role is posted as a level V Actuarial Analyst, with openness to levels IV–V. Strong analytical, communication, and programming skills (SQL, R, Python) are essential for success in this

Qualifications

  • ACAS required for this role.
  • Bachelor or graduate degree in statistics, mathematics or actuarial science; relevant post‑bachelor experience.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages (SQL, R, Python, Radar).
  • Experience with pricing in personal or commercial lines is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support commercial auto pricing, including individual account pricing and portfolio analyses.
  • Conduct actuarially sound statistical analyses and develop pricing recommendations.
  • Evaluate work of others and document assumptions, methods, and sources.
  • Prepare actuarial findings for technical and non‑technical audiences; collaborate with product, finance, and claims teams.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and provide ad hoc analytical support as needed.
  • Develop and analyze new methodologies for insurance rating and loss reserving.
