Job summary

Mobilitas, a CSAA Insurance Group venture, is hiring a Commercial Pricing Actuary (Mobility) for a remote role across the United States (except Hawaii and Alaska). You will lead pricing analyses, develop pricing recommendations, and mentor junior colleagues while collaborating with product, finance, and claims teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area and 5+ years of post-bachelor experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis
• Or Graduate degree in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area and 3 years experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis
• Strong analytical and communication skills in a client-facing role
• Solid understanding of the market landscape
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages such as SQL, R, Python, Radar, etc.

Responsibilities

• Support commercial auto pricing, including individual account pricing and portfolio-level analyses
• Conduct actuarially sound statistical analysis by selecting data sources and making assumptions to develop pricing recommendations
• Evaluate analytical work and provide recommendations considering internal and external factors
• Document assumptions, methods, sources and considerations clearly
• Prepare actuarial findings suitable for technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide actuarial support
