Job summary

Mobilitas, a CSAA Insurance Group venture, is hiring a Commercial Pricing Actuary (Mobility) for a remote role across the United States (excluding Hawaii and Alaska). You will support pricing for commercial auto lines, perform portfolio analyses, and lead moderately complex projects.

The role requires 5+ years of actuarial experience or a 3-year payoff with a graduate degree, and fluency in data tools like SQL, R, Python.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related area plus 5+ years of post-bachelor experience
• Or graduate degree with 3 years of actuarial analysis experience
• Strong analytical and client-facing communication skills
• Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, Radar or similar tools

Responsibilities

• Support commercial auto pricing, including individual account pricing and portfolio-level analyses
• Conduct actuarially sound statistical analyses by selecting data sources and making assumptions
• Evaluate analytical work and provide recommendations considering internal and external factors
• Document assumptions, methods, and sources clearly for technical and non-technical audiences
• Prepare actuarial findings suitable for diverse audiences
• Participate in peer reviews to enhance quality and collaboration
• Collaborate with product management, finance, and claims for actuarial support
• Develop and analyze new pricing methodologies for insurance rating and loss reserving
