Job summary

YO AI Labs is seeking a Commercial Attorney to support a confidential AI project on a remote, contractor basis. You will review and redline commercial agreements, contribute to contract playbooks, and provide clear legal analysis to train and evaluate AI systems.

The ideal candidate has a JD and active US bar, 4+ years in transactional practice, and strong skills in drafting, negotiating, and technology transactions.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active U.S. bar admission.
• 4+ years of transactional legal experience at a law firm or in-house.
• Strong knowledge of commercial contract provisions including liability limitations, indemnification, confidentiality, and data protection.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and contract review skills.
• Experience in technology transactions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and redline commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
• Analyze contracts and apply playbooks and company positions.
• Draft clear explanations supporting redlines and revisions.
• Apply contract drafting, negotiation, and technology transactions expertise.
• Collaborate with project teams to maintain consistent legal standards.
• Ensure accuracy and high-quality legal writing.
• Work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
