Job summary

GE Vernova’s Software & Control Solutions team seeks a Commercial Application Engineer who can lead complex proposals from RFP to contract, coordinating sales, engineering, finance, and risk. You will own deal financials, assess risk, and ensure technically sound, competitive solutions.

You’ll act as the primary customer contact, align internal stakeholders, and shape pricing strategy while navigating cross-functional handoffs from ITO to OTR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with experience in industrial controls or technical sales.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical specs, drawings, and contractual terms.
• Strong written and oral communication for diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end proposal development for core and complex industrial control system offerings.
• Own deal financials and risk management within ITO process and present to CRB.
• Serve as primary point of contact for customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Develop competitive pricing and deal strategy with sales and pricing teams.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with supply chain and execution teams through contract signature.
