Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Technical Application Engineer to lead and support technical sales initiatives across Industrial Communications products. This remote role requires coordinating with Sales, customers, and internal teams to develop designs, quotations, and installation scopes while managing ITO risk and ensuring compliance.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years in technical engineering, CCNA/CCNP certifications, and strong presentation and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 3 years in a Technical Engineering role.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%.
• CCNA/CCNP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of IEEE, MIS and CS concepts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales, channels and customers on pre-sales and post-sales technical efforts.
• Develop and execute technical sales strategies for market opportunities.
• Translate customer requirements into designs and quotations with Sales Manager.
• Coordinate order fulfillment with sourcing and operations teams.
• Prepare technical presentations for all levels of the customer's organization.
• Develop project scopes, schedules and cost estimates for total scope offerings.
