Environmental LLC. in Colorado is seeking a motivated Environmental Technician to join our team. This role offers remote work flexibility with residency in Colorado due to fieldwork, and opportunities to work on diverse field and technical projects across Colorado and Wyoming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Biological Sciences).
• 0–3 years of environmental field or consulting experience (internships welcomed).
• Knowledge of environmental sampling procedures (groundwater, drinking water, stormwater, wastewater).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent technical writing abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and at high elevations.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Working knowledge of EPA and state/local environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct soil, groundwater, and water quality sampling and environmental monitoring.
• Perform field investigations and collect accurate environmental data.
• Analyze environmental data and assist with technical evaluations.
• Prepare technical reports, maps, tables, and project documentation.
• Maintain and calibrate field sampling and monitoring equipment.
• Coordinate sample shipments and communications with analytical laboratories.
• Travel to project sites throughout Colorado and Wyoming, including occasional overnight travel.
• Support project managers with environmental compliance and investigation activities.
