Job summary

Thrive Scholars is seeking a College Success Manager to guide first‑year Scholars toward academic excellence and career readiness. You will lead 1:1 advising, group coaching, and online modules, coordinating with Career teams to place Scholars in internships and research positions.

The role combines virtual work with on-site support during the Summer Academy, involving collaboration across departments to support Scholars’ persistence and success in selective colleges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 2+ years of professional experience.
• Advising experience at a highly selective college preferred.
• Experience helping students through crises and triaging resources.
• Strong relationship builder with coaching and implementation skills.
• Ability to document data and inform decisions for students’ success.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic advising to up to 90 Scholars, aiming for GPA 3.3+ in the first year.
• Coordinate workshops with College Success and Career teams for internships.
• Support FAFSA filing and documentation to persist to sophomore year.
• Develop curriculum on course selection, major exploration, and para-academic skills.
• Lead multiple project areas and manage cross-departmental events.
• Participate in Summer Academy logistics and on-site facilitation as needed.
