Job summary

Thrive Scholars seeks a dynamic College Success Manager to guide first-year Scholars in building academic habits and exploring careers. The role combines 1:1 advising, group coaching, online modules, and on-site Summer Academy activities.

You will manage a caseload, collaborate with College Success and Career teams, and help Scholars access internships and research opportunities, with on-site Summer Academy for up to four weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• Experience advising students in higher education or college access.
• Proven ability to build trust-based relationships with students.
• Experience coordinating programs and events for students.
• Familiarity with data to inform program decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 advising and group coaching to first-year Scholars.
• Collaborate with Career and College Success teams for internships and research opportunities.
• Lead 2-3 project areas to advance department goals.
• Coordinate Summer Academy planning, logistics, content, and delivery.
• Document student progress and outcomes using Salesforce.
