Job summary

Thrive Scholars is seeking a College Success Manager to support first-year Scholars with academic coaching, wellness and career preparation across modalities including 1:1 advising, group sessions, online modules and in-person Summer Academy programming.

The role leads a caseload of up to 90 Scholars, collaborates with multiple teams, and participates in Summer Academy on-site for up to four weeks. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of advising experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 2+ years of professional advising experience preferred.
• Experience advising first-year students or college interns in high-selectivity environments is ideal.
• Strong relationship-building and coaching skills with a patient, equity-centered approach.
• Ability to analyze data to inform student success strategies and program improvements.

Responsibilities

• College Success Advising: coach a caseload of up to 90 Scholars to achieve strong first-year outcomes.
• Program Management: support cross-team programs and events, including Career and College transition initiatives.
• Academy Logistics and Facilitation: contribute to Summer Academy planning, content, and delivery.
• Administrative Tasks: track student progress in Salesforce and maintain accurate records.
