Job summary

egelloC in the United States is seeking a strategic, highly organized Student Success Coach to guide families through the college admissions journey. This fully remote role focuses on long-term planning, guidance, and admissions strategy for highly selective universities, including UC/CSU systems.

As a seasoned IEC with a track record of independent guidance, you will coordinate with success and editing teams, manage a caseload, and help students build competitive profiles and compelling

Qualifications

• 5+ years of college admissions coaching, counseling, or mentoring experience.
• Experience as an Independent Educational Consultant (IEC) and/or Public High School College Counselor is strongly preferred.
• Experience independently managing the full college admissions counseling process from planning to submission.
• Deep familiarity with UC and CSU admissions systems, including PIQs and positioning.

Responsibilities

• Guide students and families through academic planning, extracurricular development, testing strategy, and timelines with regular meetings.
• Help students build competitive long-term profiles aligned with intended majors and target universities.
• Advise on positioning essays and activities across UC and Common App.
• Communicate transparently with families and provide strategic direction throughout the journey.
• Monitor progress, identify gaps, and intervene to keep students on track.
