Job summary

Minute is a global technology and content company seeking a Collections Specialist for our Commercial team. You will manage accounts receivable, pursue outstanding invoices, and ensure client accounts stay current while maintaining strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates are diligent, commercially minded, and comfortable handling large balances, with proficiency in Excel and systems like Salesforce, GAM, or NetSuite.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or collections.
• Strong understanding of the collections process and handling large balances.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship management.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with multi-account management.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with Salesforce, GAM, or NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and follow up on outstanding and past-due invoices.
• Work with sellers and internal teams to resolve payment issues, billing discrepancies, and other collection-related matters.
• Communicate directly with clients to secure payment and establish clear payment timelines.
• Review aging reports and prioritize collection activity based on account status, balance, and risk.
• Track payment commitments, maintain accurate collection records, and elevate issues when needed.
• Identify recurring payment issues or risks and communicate them to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Support month-end and quarter-end collection efforts and reporting.
